What a combo this is...sleep + dentist. Lorelai slept until 4:50 AM. Ok so some of you might think this is not sleeping in but for this household - I will take it! I have seen a pattern for some time, a very slow pattern but a pattern nonetheless. It started with the last post that I wrote about Lorelai only getting up once in the night. Well since then that has been the case starting at 1 AM. Still not bad as that was half point for us. Then 2, 3, 3:45 then last night 4:50!!!!!! Which was perfect timing as today was Harry's later day so he was just getting up and he actually got to see her before he left for work. It was nice getting up and having breakfast with him like the olden days.
So there is the sleep part...dentist. Today is Ellaree's first time going to the dentist. She is a little nervous as she thinks her teeth are broken if she has to go to the dentist. I think this stems from Kassy having go to the dentist because she had to have a root canal and therefore she associates that with her going. Sometimes she is too smart for own good. So I had to explain that they were just going to look at her pretty teeth, see how she brushes and give her a new tooth brush! I think it is working. We will see. I also have a cleaning so I am hoping that after she sees me getting them done and what they will do that she will be fine.
Other exciting news is that Papa Harry & Nonie are coming up today with their piano. They are giving us theirs which has been in Nonie's family for quite a few years. This is so exciting because then in a couple of years the girls can take lessons if they would like. That is one thing I wish I could have done when I was a little girl was take lessons. Of course this meant some heavy duty rearranging of the office which was full of toys on the wall that the piano is going. While we were at it we went through the toys and sorted what we could give to the homeless shelter for kids. Ellaree was not very happy about this process but in the end she survived!
