Ratatouille

My heart is still racing as I write what happened to us this morning. Funny, haha, I can laugh about it now but at the time it was quite the ordeal.

The girls are at Grapa & Grama's today and I was getting them ready to go. I was going over to the TV to turn off Clifford when out of the corner of my eye I notice in the corner is a mouse just sitting there basically looking at me with his little beady eyes. I jump, scream and throw my arms in the air. Well of course Elly feels the need to freak out along with me. I decide that since that did not scare him away that I was going go to get tupperware out of the kitchen and see if I couldn't trap him. Well I did trap him. He didn't even put up a fight for me. Just sat there looking at me like whatever! So now he is sitting in the corner with a tupperware over him. Then I get to thinking about my carpet and if he is there for too long he is going to pee and poop on my carpet. So I start scooting him over to the office floor which is wood. There he sits still not caring. But then what happens if while I am gone he decided to try and move and then there goes the tupperware across my room and if he is clever he will some how get it off. So then I go in search of a book that is not too big but big enough to keep him place. Poor Belle Princess book is sitting on top of the mouse.

While all this is going on I have a call into Harry. Yeah he was lots of help when he called back. Basically take care of it yourself...even though I begged him to come home. Trust me in the back of my mind I knew I was on my own but thought maybe he was in a loving mood today and he would come rescue me. No chance on that so the mouse is sitting there until he gets home tonight to take care of him. Good thing I will be gone today running errands.

On the way to meet Grama, Elly asks me if the mouse is like Ratatouille. My response after thinking that was very cute was that if he was like Ratatouille and would cook for momma then we would keep him but since I am pretty sure he won't cook for me - he had to go! She agreed.

Wow what a way to get your heart pumping in the morning!
