Yesterday was a great day! I got to spend time with Elly in the morning and in the afternoon/evening I got to spend time with my husband. We had a great time going out just the two of us while Lisa watched Elly for us. Elly is now the champ at tubes in McDonald's PlayPlace. This was of course her very first time going to the playplace. I am afraid of what is going to happen in the future when going to McDonald's. Oh well, she had just as much fun as we did, and that is what matters.
Unfortunately, when we got home last night, got all tucked into bed all cozy & warm, I started having my acid reflux. I had this about this time with Elly and it is not fun. So I got about 3 hours of sleep last night with dealing with that and I am not sure how much Harry got either. Bless his heart, he came downstairs and rubbed my back, gave me my medicine and stayed on the couch with me until it was time to go to the barn. Who could ask for a better husband.
The other thing that I question about this pregnancy...can I be nesting already? This week the house has never been so clean in the whole time we have been here, except for the dust. I don't think I will ever get rid of dust with living on a farm. Anyway, I mean the laundry is put away, I started rearranging the living room (which by the way looks awesome now) and then yesterday started on our bedroom. Of course, I got the lecture of needing to wait for some help when Harry got home but it is done and all is put away. I wish I had this kind of energy every week and with so little sleep.
Speaking of little sleep....they are right you know when they talk about once you have kids you never sleep a full night again. They are so right (whoever they are). Ever since I was pregnant with Elly, I have not had a full nights sleep. Even when Elly does sleep through the night, I am up for whatever reason. And now with this little stinker, I am not getting more then I would 5 hours a night. But still going strong. Boy, God really does give you some great strengths as a mom!
I think this is it for my rambling and random thoughts for today.
