Carving Pumpkins

Growing up I don't remember ever carving pumpkins. My parents say that we did a couple of times but oviously it was when I was younger and they did it with the other two. Boy did I miss out! Just kidding mom & dad. Anyway, Harry's family did this as a tradition and so this year we started our tradition with our family.

The time finally came last night and Elly got to carve her pumpkin. It has been a long time waiting as we picked up her pumpkin on our way back from Canada...2 weeks ago. Elly has gotten the carving tools out many times and asked her dad if it was time. Well it finally came and did she have fun. And of course the end came too soon.

"Look it!"

Elly was not so sure about the ooie gooie guts inside but she finally put her
hands in and got them dirty. Oh boy, watch out after that! She had fun.

Elly & her pumpkin! What a great job.
