Updates

Well every day you remember how much it is to bend over and tie your shoes (or you are like me and just wear sandals even though there is snow on the ground), to not be able to hold your daughter and on and on we could go. I am thankful for the success of the surgery but it is the little things in life that makes you step back for a minute and think about how much harder it is. For instances, last night we went to Papa & Owwy's house for Papa's birthday. Could the state fix some of these roads....so bumpy. I don't think any amount of pain pills were going to help with that one last night. But it was a fun night while we were there. And Miss Bugaboo stayed overnight. We have had so many wonderful phone calls, emails, visits and so forth. It has been amazing the love we feel.

I am getting some things done. I had a recovery to-do list. And I only have one more thing on it and then it will be completed. And I am through 1 1/2 books so far. Hoping that I can still go back to work on Wed. but I know that that really is not that far away. Dr. Silva did tell me that laperotomy is more invasive then a laperoscopy. I am starting to believe him now. We will get through it but in the mean time, I am going to sit in an easy chair.
