Patience

Patience is a wonderful word that I remind myself to use quite often as a mother and wife. I am constantly asking God to guide me and give me lots of patience. This last week we have had the last one year molar coming through and that was torcher on Elly. The other three seem to be fine coming in but this one gave her lots of grief. So we were a little bit more whiny and very clingy. We have finally gotten it through and life is better in Little Missy's world until her parents decided that we needed to take sippy away at nap time and bedtime. This has been a little hard on her as she used her sippy along with lovey to comfort her to sleep. Now she only has lovey. Sometimes lovey just doesn't make the cut. The first night she cried for 30 minutes but now we are down to about 5 minutes. We are slowly gaining sucess and this. We were told that taking sippy to bed can be bad on their teeth as the milk stays on the teeth and could be bad as they might get an overbight or something like that. Plus I am looking down the road to when we want to potty train...we would have to take it away then and it would be one less thing we would have to deal with when the time arises. I know she is only 14 months. I am not trying to put the cart before the horse...I just want to be ready.

As always I try to provide you with at least one picture of Little Missy. Here is her first ponytail...it only lasted for about 5 minutes but at least I got the picture. :)
