Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone!!!! Elly missed out on the fireworks this year. Maybe next year. We didn't really need to go anywhere as we had fireworks in our backyard. We could see LaCrosse, Westby & Cashton. After a while we went inside and from our recliner I could watch them out the window. Now that is the life. :) Yesterday, Elly & I went to my cousin Gloria and Jeff Joseph's for their annual 4th of July party. Today we are heading to the Turgasen's for Delaney's 2nd birthday party and then after that to Muscoda to celebrate Nick's birthday. Don't worry I won't spill the beans on how old he is. :) We have a very fun & eventful day planned. But come tomorrow there is more fun as in the morning Elly is going to the Korn's house to play with the kids while Jane & I leave to go shopping. And then in the afternoon our friends Nick & Sam are coming up from Mineral Point. How much fun Elly is going to have seeing everyone. Good thing we are taking a nice long nap right now. She use to only take one nap during the day but since I have started my new hours she has started taking a nap in the morning and afternoon. I think this is better for her. When she is at daycare she only takes one nap but I think that is b/c she is too busy playing with the kids. When she is at home it is just boring old mom. :) Anyway, this has gotten longer than I thought it would and I really didn't share anything extremely important. Oh well. Oh yeah, and I almost forgot the most fun part....yesterday we found the radio station that Uncle John, from Kentucky is on, on Fridays. So Elly & I got to start our day out right by listening to Uncle John. It was so cute b/c when I told her that was Uncle John on radio she started clapping. How sweet.
