Intentions

Yesterday our intentions were to pack as much as stuff as we could while we were kids free.  Well it really didn't work that way.  I let Harry sleep longer then he had asked as he looked so tired.  Then we had lunch and I had mentioned maybe going to Simply Country (a unique furniture shop in town) to see if I could find a nice dining set.  Obviously this store is really not all that kid friendly so it would be the great time to go since we had no kids, driving by when we went to pick the kids up and we were together to make a decision.  So we got ready and went to Simply Country.  I found a table and chairs that match my hutch that I got 5 years ago with wedding money.  The only problem is that we didn't necessarily like the chairs as they swivel and if you have kids you know that that really is not the greatest idea as they will be swiveling instead of eating.  So we found other ones that we liked but there was only 2 in the store.  So tomorrow they have to call and see if they can get me 4 more.  But the table was half off and they put it on hold for me so that they can deliver it to the new house which is 5 minutes away verses delivering it to our current house where we will turn around and move it again.  I am very excited and can't wait to get it all in my dining room!  Now to keep my fingers crossed that they can get me some chairs.

We had a great day today with Harry for Father's Day.  The kids made Harry a book with lots of coloring, writing, hand prints, scribbles and just a little of everything in it.  It was very cute.  We let Harry sleep in until lunch time and then we just hung out and had some family time before he had to go to work tonight.  Nothing overly exciting but it was exactly what Harry wanted.
