WOW in one week we will own our very first home together. This week we have been feeling very tired, excited, stressed, ecstatic, exhausted and a little overwhelmed with all that is going on right now.
This week we had Ellaree's first week of swimming lessons. Boy the emotions there as she walked to her class by herself and I just realized how big she really is getting. Boy am I in for it when she starts school. Swimming lessons have been going very well. The first day I came home and admitted to Harry I thought they would probably bump her back to the beginners session but they didn't and they have been very patient with her. Today she walked to the end of the diving board but wouldn't jump in to the life guard. Maybe next week.
Today I took the kids to Grapa & Grama's after swimming lessons and came home to do some packing. On the way home I did stop back into Simply Country and did decide on the swivel stools to go with my table. I couldn't get the stools I wanted and I was afraid that if I just bought something off line the colors wouldn't match up just right. I did however find out that there is a weight sensory type thing on there and so it does not swivel very easy unless you are sitting in it and it has to be a certain weight. So maybe it won't be that big of a deal. So once that was taken care of I did come home and pack while Harry made phone calls of installing and canceling all the wonderful items that needs to be done.
One of my projects for me, which I call my Therapy, is making meals for those in need for having a baby, surgery, or just because. I know that it is a huge job raising three beautiful children and it is a full time job but for some reason there are just days when I feel like I have not accomplished anything. Therefore I have started making meals for those in need and it has really helped. I have been told though that there is more good food going out of the house then there is staying in the house. I have been enjoying it!
This weekend starts Harry having Sundays and Mondays off. This will be good as we will be able to get more accomplished with packing and getting into trailers. We have 2 trailers full so far and we will be going and borrowing our friends and families as the time gets closer. We are hoping to have as many trailers as possible packed and ready to go by Saturday so both of us can be pulling trailers over and then next Sunday and Monday unpacking into the new house.
Besides everything else going on, I believe Lorelai is getting her eye teeth in and Harry is getting his top front teeth in. That is right, they have decided to teeth at the same time. At least one of them has been up multiple times during the night for a week. Coffee is my best friend right now!
Tuesday we have final walk through which we are taking the kids with. Ellaree is super excited and has told me she no longer likes this house, she just wants her new house. And she has asked if she can stay at the new house at the walk through. Oh the expectations at the age of 4. And then Friday is the big day of banks, attorneys, real estate agents and keys to the front door!
I know this is kind of a jumbled mess of things but that is our life right now. But it is all worth it and we are so happy!
