Clinic

Well this week has been full of dr. appointments at the clinic. Tuesday I took Lil Harry in as he is still having constipation problems even with the glisterin suppositories. He has stopped eating and has been throwing up his bottles. It reminds me of what Lorelai did in the beginning. So we took him in and had an x-ray done. He has stool in there and a little more then normal but nothing to be of concern. Dr. Nancy did say that since he is not eating, he is not producing poop, therefore he is not trying to go. We did put him on Prilosec for the acid reflux. Even if it doesn't help the acid reflux it will help with the constipation as it will help him go. So either way it is a win win situation. We are hoping that he only has to be on it one round and then he will be better. This was the case with Lorelai. Oh and he was 10 lbs 14 oz at that time.

Wednesday I had my postop appointment. Can you believe it has been 6 weeks already since I had Mr. Harry. It has just flew by. All is going well. I am to start exercising and rest when I can. I laughed at him as I told him if anyone should know it would be him that you don't get rest or exercise with 3 children (he has 4). I am hoping to get out and go ride bikes and take walks when it is nicer...not really something I would do right now in the middle of February. I did take Lil Harry with me and he hung out in the nurses station and flirted the whole appointment. Grama watched the girls for me while daddy slept.

When I got back though I had to do another run into the clinic for Ellaree. She is having UTI problems again and so I called her urologist and requested a urinalysis. I am thinking that her medication is not working. Therefore we will not hear anything until the culture comes back. I have been trying to hold off as long as possible as I hate switching the medicine on her but the symptoms have gotten worse. The only thing that would be worse is her getting the 105 fever again and I really don't want to go down that road. Thank goodness Grama was able to stay and watch the other two.
