Elly has her groove on...

Babies are amazing. They do something funny every day. For Elly's birthday she got the fridge farm from the Turgasen's. She loves it. It is a magnet for the fridge (obviously) and it has the front half and back half of animals. If you put them together then it makes little songs. And of course there is farmer Tad that plays his banjo. Anyway, whenever Tad plays his banjo she dances. We had to put it on video for you all. Too cute to keep to ourselves.

Weather wise...thunder storms, flood warnings & tornado warnings...I am not so sure I like spring time. Yesterday I went with Harry to Blair and some of the side roads were already washed out and not good. I think we are going to see another flood like last year (hopefully not as bad). And of course, Harry is driving in it again today. Some of the farms are hard to get into as they have bad bridges, roads and other things that makes it difficult for them to get in and out. Elly & I were suppose to attend the Richland County Dairy breakfast with Grandma & Papa Hornby this morning but decided to stay home and dry. This would have been Elly's 2nd annual dairy breakfast as she went last year. She was only 6 days old. The Durst/Larse Farms had it last year and couldn't miss that. I feel bad but she will have years of dairy breakfasts to attend. She will be ok.

Elly really likes her balloons that we bought for her birthday party. Surprisingly they are still floating. She likes to walk around with them but we learned for quickly that she can't take them into the living room with the ceiling fan. :)
