Every Mother Hopes...

Every Mother hopes that their kids don't cut their own hair.  Most kids do it at least one time.  I got lucky with Ellaree that she never did.  I engrained it into her head early on that no one touched her hair except Aunt Laura.  We also didn't have scissors laying around as no one used them but mommy & daddy. But now we have a 5 year old that makes projects all the time and so there are scissors out that are forgotten to be put back.  There are chairs to be climbed on to get to the counter top, and so we had our first interesting go around with cutting our own hair. 

Can you tell by the color of the hair whose it is?

That is right...Little Miss Lorelai cut her own hair.  This is just minutes after it happened.

She actually didn't do a bad job.  She cut them right about eye level and therefore she now has beautiful bangs.  Our good friend fixed her hair.

Oh yes and it wouldn't be complete without cutting some of her brothers also.  See some of the notches in his hair?
