Fast Pace

Maybe it is the holidays maybe it is just life happening...but lately I feel like the kids are growing up at a very fast pace.

Harry is taking 6-10 steps at a time.  I think he would do more if he sisters would let him use his walker to get around.  But he seems to take it in stride and just do his own thing.  He is really a smart little man.  I don't usually toot my own horn about the kids but he is one smart dude.  If you ask him a question he shakes his head yes or no, and it is appropriately the right way.  I don't remember the girls doing this at this age.  And he has been doing this for at least a month now if not longer.  He is also up to saying momma, dadda, bubba & papa.  Also, we have 2 molars in and working on the rest.  What a man!

Lorelai is amazing us every day.  Her vocabulary is out of this world lately.  And she has started to sing her ABCs.  Yes she only gets about a quarter of the letters but the ones she does are in order and correct.  And she sings the "I know my ABCs" pretty well.  WOW is all I have to say.

Ellaree is a smart little cookie as well.  I was so proud of her last night as we went to Walmart to buy a little 3 year old girl a princess gift that Daddy had picked out at work to buy for.  As much as she wanted a princess gift herself she was very much proud to be picking something out for her.  She told anyone and everyone that she was buying it for a 3 year old girl.  Then at bedtime she prayed for her and asked God to watch over her.  I am amazed at her tender heart each day.

On Wednesdays when we are available we have been attending the Playgroup at school.  Ellaree has no school on Wed. therefore they have playgroup for an hour.  This is for kids all ages (so I take all 3) for them to come and get use to Mr. Harger & the room.  They all enjoy it but Lorelai has been loving it the most.  She stays by Mr. Harger's side the whole time.  She gives him hugs, has him pick her up and sits on his lap the whole time.  She loves being at school & Mr. Harger.  I think I will have another independent one on my hands soon.  And I love the mommy time I get to have during this time also.  It has been a great blessing.  Unfortunately for us mommys, this is only for first semester and then second semester Ellaree will go to school on Wed.
