Last night was Ellaree's first Spaghetti Supper at Kickapoo School. Each year they host a dinner for the families to welcome the students back to school. You get to go to your classroom, drop off your supplies and eat dinner. It was an extra treat as Daddy took the night off to go with us. To say the least it was a bit overwhelming for each of us in different ways. But overall we had a great time.
Tomorrow is the big day when Mommy becomes to school bus driver for Miss Ellaree! She is very excited and will enjoy every bit of it, I am sure. Ellaree has class from 8-11. She opted to eat breakfast at school and to have milk break. So with that comes learning your school lunch and milk code. We have been learning it as much as possible so she knows how to type it in. Each family has a specific code and it deducts the amount in the bank each time it is typed in. Once the amount is down to $5 then I get an automated phone call to send more money for the account. Much more techy then when I went to school and we were still using school tickets.
