Wow, there has been so much that has went on and not much time for blogging, sigh. I have been doing a lot of emailing back and forth with Jerod and that is comforting that we are able to do that. Many times I thank God that he is overseas in this day and age with technology so great, where many years ago the only contact that you had with your soldiers was with snail mail. Praise God! I have had to laugh at how many emails I have received in the last two days from him giving me list after list of things that they need/want. And many instructions to go to the family.

Last Saturday night we were at my parents celebrating Mother's Day. Uncle Nick took Maddie & Elly to the park. Can you see they didn't hesitate at all when he said "park".
Who knew that a trailer could be so much fun.
Elly has learned to climb up and down on our stools. The other day she moved the stool over to the front porch and watched daddy leave in the milk truck.
Miss Elly is the coolest kid on the ridge!

It has been a couple weeks since I checked in, so I was just fortunate to check out your video on the ice cream! You are so right...your daughter is the coolest kid around!!! Such a sweetheart! We miss her! And you guys too, of course!!! ~Sam
