School & Fun

This morning I had to go into school to drop off money to Mrs. Deaver for the t-shirt fundraiser that FOCUS just did.  Ellaree could have cared less I was there, Harry just liked the candy that everyone was giving him and Lorelai screamed when it was time to leave claiming she was staying with Mrs. Deaver the whole day.  Lorelai loves school, loves socializing with everyone and all the candy they give her because she is cute.
Saturday and Sunday due to Mr. Harry's chickenpox we actually got a lot done with having to stay at home.  Harry worked in the morning and came home around one.  He watched the kids and I got out of the house for a much needed break.  I was going to try and do a little rummage saling since it was city-wide in Viroqua but only hit one as everyone was already shutting down.  So I went to Walmart and did my grocery shopping at a snails pace.  It was a nice break as I had been home with Mr. Harry for 5 days.  When I got home Harry went downstairs and sanded the first coat of drywall that I had put on in the bedroom.  I actually did an ok job, he said.  And the lawn got mowed also.

Sunday Harry did not have to work for Kwik Trip and so it would have been an ideal time to go to church but with Mr. Harry still having a few spots on him I decided it was better to be safe then sorry.  So back down to the bedroom we went and Harry got the 2nd coat of mud on the room.  I did bookwork and then we worked on the thresholds for the kitchen during naptime.  When we ripped the linoleum out of the kitchen and put in the tile there is a difference in height in the flooring.  So we are not able to reuse the threshold that was there.  So Harry is making his own which is turning out really nice.  All that is left on that is for him to sand it down & prime it.  We are slowly being able to mark one thing off the list at a time.

After naps it was a fun surprise when the neighbors two boys & parents came over and we all got to hang out for an hour.  The kids had a blast playing with them and we had some fun adult conversations.
