Lots Of News

Well to start off I want to say that Harry has been sleeping through the night since Monday night. As some of you might recall we had quite the time getting Lorelai off the bottle during the night and so I decided I was not going to make that mistake again of letting it go on for so long. Harry would wake up and was more interested in smiling at me then drinking his bottle anyway. So I cut him off, gave him the ax! And actually he has been doing really good with it. I might have to get up and give him the Nuk or like last night he was a little fussy so put him in the swing but for the most part we are doing good. Fingers crossed that maybe soon I will sleep through the night also.

Other great news is that we are on our way to buying a house. I know that I have posted in the past how we were looking for a farm or house. Well we decided to go with a house for now, build up our equity and we can always buy land and start farming that way. That means no baby calves, pigs or that sort at this moment but maybe if it is ok with the neighbors we could do chickens. Sorry getting off track here but last week we put in an offer, they counter-offered, and we countered again and they accepted our offer which all parties involved were surprised but they said with the market the way it was they decided they should just take it. Yeah for us! Now just waiting for the small things to go through like well & septic inspections, appraisal from the bank, etc. If all that goes through just fine then we will close on July 1st.

Here is a sneak peak at our new property. It is 1 1/2 miles outside of Viroqua. So Harry will have to drive about 20 more minutes to work but it will be about 10 minutes closer to Ellaree's school. So the middle is perfect. Do you see that garage door? I have always wanted an attached garage! And 2 bathrooms which this does! God is so good to us!

Here is Harry's house...haha! Just kidding but he is in love with it that is for sure. It is half cemented and has a workshop on the side with the service door. This is across the road from the house so the kids will have to learn very quickly to have me take them over.

There is about 3/4 of an acre in the backyard for the kids to play and have their playset!

Congratulations!!! So very excited for you. Fingers crossed, prayers being said that all will work out and you will have this home. I like Harry's house ;0) If it is like the one Jon used to have, it is nicer than our 'real' house LOL
