Wednesday night was Laurence's (or as Elly calls her LaLa) going away party. Unfortunately for us, she was heading back to Switzerland. 10 months went way to fast. But we will always cherish the time we had with her and she will always be apart of our family. We did receive an email from her yesterday saying that she was back home safely. LaLa had to take three different flights (from Madison to Chicago, from Chicago to Washington, from Washington to Zurich) and then, a three hour car ride with her parents to arrive to Geneva. She sounded tired but happy to be back home.
Laurence loves chocolate! So I got her the most chocolaty cake possible. Chocolate cake, chocolate filling, chocolate frosting & chocolate drizzle. Yumm-O!

Since it rained at Elly's birthday party we were unable to do the pinata. Therefore, I had Laurence take it for her party. The kids had a blast. And in the end we had LaLa get up to take a hit!
Nick, Jen, Maddie & Laurence had just gotten back from going out west. While out there Laurence wanted to get a picture with a cowboy but never got one. Therefore Harry was her cowboy!
